Born from the classroom. Built for the future of education.
AssignProof started with a simple observation: when AI became part of students' daily workflow, the nature of learning changed. The outputs looked better than ever, but the thinking behind them often wasn't happening at all.
As educators, we recognized this wasn't a problem to be solved by banning AI. The question was: how do we keep the thinking in the learning process?
We began by studying the research — Bloom's Taxonomy, the Halpern Critical Thinking Assessment, the Socratic Method, and Pearson's RED Model. These frameworks became the foundation for a new approach to understanding student reasoning.
Observed the impact of AI on student engagement firsthand in the classroom.
Began researching cognitive offloading and its effects on learning outcomes.
Developed the Critical Thinking Assessment Framework grounded in established pedagogical theory.
Building AssignProof — a platform that makes student reasoning visible to educators.
